I started flying when I was six weeks old and continued to keep flying routinely and internationally up until I was eleven.  The only time I can ever remember being actually afraid was when my parents and I flew to Hong Kong for Chinese New Year in 1994.  The airport (now gone) was called Kai Tak in Kowloon, and to fly in you had to fly over and then into the city.
